I'm Keith Badon, the artist behind Vivid Ink Co. Art Studio.

My journey with art began in childhood, where creativity was always a part of who I was. Like many people, life eventually pulled me in different directions, and painting took a back seat for years. As an adult, I found my way back to the canvas and rediscovered something I had been missing—a way to express emotion, tell stories, and create something meaningful from the chaos of everyday life.

Based in Southwest Louisiana, my work is inspired by resilience, human emotion, music, color, and the beauty that can emerge from imperfect moments. Through bold acrylics, layered textures, expressive splatters, and vibrant color palettes, I create pieces that balance energy and emotion. Each painting is an exploration of contrast—chaos and control, strength and vulnerability, struggle and hope.

My artistic style blends contemporary expressionism with pop-inspired elements, creating work that is both visually striking and emotionally engaging. I am drawn to creating pieces that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own meaning within the artwork. Whether it's a powerful portrait, an abstract narrative, or a color-driven statement piece, my goal is to create art that sparks conversation and leaves a lasting impression.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm balancing family life, pursuing new creative ventures, and continuing to build a body of work that reflects my growth as both an artist and a person. As a father of three daughters, I understand the importance of legacy, perseverance, and creating something that outlives the moment.

Through Vivid Ink Co. Art Studio, I hope to inspire others to embrace creativity, find beauty in imperfection, and remember that even in life's most challenging seasons, color can still break through.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
